Skillland Project Transformations

See the work. Understand the change. Request a similar project.

A growing collection of admin-approved building, renovation, installation, repair, and maintenance transformations completed by Skillland contractors across Nigeria.

Publication control

How a project reaches the public gallery

The public page is only the final stage. Submissions remain private until Skillland completes the approval and privacy checks.

Contractor submits a matched photo set

The contractor provides clear before and after images, project details, service, state, city, completion date, and the related Skillland profile.

Owner consent is confirmed

The customer or property owner must approve public use of the images. Consent can be withdrawn before publication while the submission is still under review.

Skillland checks the project record

Admin reviews the images, labels, service category, location, project description, contractor identity, and available supporting records.

Privacy details are removed

Private addresses, phone numbers, identity documents, access codes, number plates, children, and identifiable people are excluded unless suitable consent exists.

Only approved projects are published

Approved work can receive an individual SEO page, contractor profile link, and a Request a Similar Project action. Rejected or incomplete submissions remain private.

What customers will see

Useful project details without private information

  • Clearly labelled before and after images
  • Service category and project type
  • State and city only — never a private street address
  • Short description of the problem and completed work
  • Project duration or completion period where available
  • Link to the responsible contractor's public Skillland profile
  • Request a Similar Project button for customers
  • Consent and privacy confirmation before publication

Consent and privacy

What must not be published

Public project proof must never become a shortcut to exposing a customer, family, property, or payment record.

No private street address, gate code, key, access instruction, or security-system detail.
No customer or contractor phone number, email address, identity document, signature, or payment receipt.
No identifiable people, children, number plates, neighbour's property, or private possessions without suitable consent.
No false before-and-after pairing, copied portfolio image, misleading description, or unapproved brand claim.

Build more safely

Pictures are useful evidence, but they are not the whole project record.

Keep quotations, agreements, measurements, material specifications, invoices, payment records, milestone photographs, test results, snag lists, and handover documents. Use the Skillland Trust and Safety Hub before committing money or approving major work.

Planning a transformation of your own?

Tell Skillland what needs to change, where the property is located, the result you want, your timing, and any photos or measurements that can help contractors understand the project.

Common questions

Before and after gallery questions

Can any contractor upload photos directly to the public gallery?

No. Contractor submissions must pass Skillland admin review before publication. Images remain private during review and incomplete, misleading, unsafe, or unverified submissions can be rejected.

Will the customer's address or phone number appear?

No. Public gallery pages may show a broad state and city, but must not show a private street address, phone number, access code, identity document, payment detail, or other sensitive information.

Does gallery approval guarantee the quality of every future job?

No. A published project shows an approved project record and transformation submitted for review. Customers should still compare quotes, verify scope and materials, use written agreements, document payments, and inspect work milestones.

How can I request a project similar to one in the gallery?

Use the Request a Similar Project button on the gallery or individual project page. Describe the service, location, measurements, budget, timeline, and the result you want so suitable Skillland contractors can respond.

Gallery publication is subject to Skillland review. A published project does not replace independent inspection, written quotations, contracts, milestone verification, or professional advice for a new job.
