Furniture Making in Oyo State

Begin with the outcome, not the price

Before requesting quotations for furniture making, clarify furniture dimensions, intended use, material choice, upholstery or finish, hardware and storage requirements. This makes it easier to distinguish the main deliverable from upgrades, repairs or related work that may need a separate decision.

Confirm what the site will require

A provider should see enough of the actual site to explain the proposed method. At a project around Ogbomoso or another Oyo community, check final room measurements, door and staircase access and whether large pieces should be made in sections and identify any area that needs protection or continued access while the job is underway.

Look for missing work before accepting a quote

For furniture making, ask the quotation to spell out frame or board specification, foam or upholstery where relevant, hardware, finish, delivery and assembly. It should also state who supplies the main materials or equipment, what preparation and cleanup are included, and what remains the customer's responsibility.

Leave the project with a clear completion record

Before final payment for furniture making, inspect stability, joints, drawer or door action, upholstery finish and dimensions before accepting delivery. If part of the result can only be judged after normal use, agree in writing how a genuine follow-up issue will be handled.
